The International Food Policy Research Institute (IFPRI) seeks to provide research-based policy solutions that sustainably reduce poverty and end hunger and malnutrition. IFPRI is a member of the CGIAR Consortium.

Netherlands Development Org (SNV)
SNV is a Netherlands-based International development organisation, working in 38 developing countries, 18 of which are in Sub- Saharan Africa. SNV works in three sectors, agriculture, renewable energy and water sanitation & hygiene. SNV’s strategy and approaches aim to catalyse sustainable development by building local capacities to improve pro-poor performance in agricultural markets and basic services delivery.
Forum for Agricultural Research in Africa (FARA)
The Forum for Agricultural Research in Africa (FARA) is an Apex organisation in bringing together major stakeholders in agricultural research and development in Africa. It is a strategic platform that fosters continental and global networking to reinforce the capacities of Africa's agricultural science & innovation community from research, education/training, extension & society engaged in agriculture. FARA does this: undertaking visioning through foresight analysis to provide strategic directions that guide new and future actions; by connecting stakeholders with different capacities; by advocating for enabling policies and institutional structures and processes that enable implementation of actions on demand; and by forming partnerships & strategic alliances to respond to demand.
Council for Scientific and Industrial Research (CSIR)
The objectives of the CSIR are, through directed and particularly multidisciplinary research and technological innovation, to foster, in the national interest and in fields which in its opinion should receive preference (including rural and agricultural development), industrial and scientific development, either by itself or in co-operation with principals from the private or public sectors (guided by the policy directives of the Department of Science and Technology), and thereby to contribute to the improvement of the quality of life of the people of South Africa.

Eastern Africa Farmers Federation
The Eastern African Farmers Federation (EAFF), formed in 2001, it is a non-political, non-profit and democratic organisation, whose role is to voice the concerns and interests of farmers of the region to enhance their social-economic status and regional cohesiveness. EAFF’s establishment was championed by national farmers’ organisations from Kenya, Tanzania, Uganda, Rwanda and DR Congo and membership was subsequently extended to Burundi, Eritrea, Djibouti, Ethiopia and South Sudan. EAFF membership is now composed of 22 farmer organisations serving about 20 millions of farmers.

Ministry of Youth and ICT (MYICT)
The mission of the Ministry of youth and ICT is to "address national priorities for economic growth and poverty reduction through the development and coordination of national policies and programs related to youth empowerment as well as Information & Communication Technology policies and programs.

Weather Safe Coffee
WeatherSafe is a remote information and management tool for the agri-food supply chain stakeholder. Our unique predictive model leverages satellite data, experts’ knowledge and live farm data, to provide timely and targeted recommendations via web platform and mobile apps. WeatherSafe’s mission is to improve agriculture decision-making and investment planning, enhance crops’ and final products’ quality,yield and profit throughout the entire value chain, from the farmer to the end-user. WeatherSafe’s initial focus is the Rwandan coffee sector, providing a solution for several issues, in particular coffee pests and diseases which reduce up to 50% of the yields annually.
Catholic Relief Services
The Catholic Relief Service’s ICT4D team will demonstrate the Farmbook suite of tools and methods that can be used by “field agents” to improve the reach, effectiveness and value of agriculture extension services, from the public and private sector. The Farmbook suite includes tools, training and consulting services that will enable farmers and farm associations to stabilise and improve farm productivity and link farmers to markets. We plan to exhibit four products:
• Survey tools linked to a cloud based database
• E-Learning tools for agricultural development
• Farmbook a business planner and profitability analyser
• Map and Track tool to monitor service delivery
CABI has developed a number of mobile agri-advisory services in India, Pakistan
NEPAD Planning & Coordinating Agency
NEPAD’s Comprehensive Africa Agriculture Development Programme (CAADP) is about transforming Africa’s agriculture for sustained food security and socio-economic growth. CAADP is Africa’s policy framework to stimulate accelerated agricultural growth, improve food security and strengthen the resilience of the environment in Africa. CAADP was endorsed by African Heads of State and Government at the 2003 AU Summit held in Maputo, Mozambique. This programme is premised on four broad priority action areas:
1) Sustainable land management and reliable water control systems;
2) Private sector development, rural infrastructure and improved trade related capacities for market access;
3) Increasing food supply and reducing hunger; and
4) Agricultural research, technology dissemination and adoption.
International Institute for Communication and Development (IICD)
We believe people need access to information and communication to improve their lives. Particularly in developing countries. Farmers earn more from their produce if they know the current market price. Patients receive better treatment if health workers know their medical history. Students learn more with up-to-date learning materials in their own language.
Technical Center for Agricultural Cooperation (CTA)
The Technical Centre for Agricultural and Rural Cooperation (CTA) is a joint international institution of the African, Caribbean and Pacific (ACP) Group of States and the European Union (EU). Its mission is to advance food and nutritional security, increase prosperity and encourage sound natural resource management in ACP countries. It provides access to information and knowledge, facilitates policy dialogue and strengthens the capacity of agricultural and rural development institutions and communities.CTA operates under the framework of the Cotonou Agreement and is funded by the EU.
CICA (Agricultural Information and Communication Center) is an agricultural information bank under MINAGRI, the Ministry of Agriculture and Animal Recourses. It mainly collects, adapts,processes, stores and shares agricultural information with different partners and stakeholders.
